Entries
must be made on form provided. ARTICLES WHICH HAVE GAINED PRIZES IN
PREVIOUS TENTERFIELD SHOWS ARE TO BE EXCLUDED. Work must be clean and
presentable. All entries
must not be more than 2 years old. Prizes awarded at judges discretion.
All work to be bona-fide work of exhibitor. All articles must be sewn. All
exhibits must be delivered to the Pavilion by noon Thursday
7th February.
Entries will be accepted on Wednesday afternoon.

SPECIAL SECTION
Pure wool
article or garment State Competition
Competition
to be conducted at Society, Group and State Level
Class: Three
wool articles and/or garments distinct
Articles and
garments may be knitted, crocheted or constructed in wool fabric or raw
wool.
(Minimum wool
content 80%)
CONDITIONS:
All three
articles/garments must have been made within the last 12 months of the
local show and made by the exhibitor.
An
exhibitor having won at a local show may enter the same three articles /
garments at Group final. The winner at the Group final may then exhibit
the same three articles / garments at the RAS State Final.
An
exhibitor having won at a local show level is not eligible to enter this
class at any other show until after the Group judging, when if not having
the winning entry, may then compete further.
An
exhibitor is only eligible to represent on Society at Group level and one
Group at State level.
An
exhibitor having won at Group level CANNOT compete further until after the
Royal Show. Sample of commercial wool and label to be attached.
THE WINNING
ARTICLES FROM EACH SHOW IN THIS SECTION WILL BE JUDGED AT WALCHA IN MARCH
2008. THE WINNING ARTICLES THERE WILL THEN BE TRANSPORTED TO SYDNEY FOR
JUDGING AT THE ROYAL SHOW.
